The APFED Showcase Programme provides a grant of up to US$30,000 to each sustainable development project that showcases innovative approaches to support the development, implementation, monitoring, and information dissemination of innovative policies, measures and actions for promoting sustainable development in the region.
The call for proposals for the 2009 APFED Showcase Programme is now opened.
The APFED Secretariat, serviced by the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), and the Showcase Facility Secretariat serviced by the United Nations Environment Programmefs Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (UNEP/ROAP) invite organisations and stakeholder groups to submit proposals for the 2009 APFED Showcase Programme in accordance with the procedures set out below.

17 September 2008 - Thirteen innovative project proposals from civil society groups and research institutes in Asia Pacific will receive an award of up to US$30,000 for their novel approaches to sustainable development.
