"The Ryutaro Hashimoto APFED Awards for Good Practices" aims at promoting information
dissemination of good practices towards sustainable development
in the Asia-Pacific region.
The awards will be given to organisations
in recognition of practices that have made outstanding contributions
in promoting environmental management and sustainable development
in Asia and the Pacific.

APFED is pleased to invite all eligible organisations that have made contributions to the promotion of sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific to apply for the 2009 Ryutaro Hashimoto APFED Awards for Good Practices.
The application period has now been closed for the year 2009.
APFED is pleased to announce the establishment of the new Ishikawa Special Award for good practices to be presented on the occasion of the APFEDII Fifth Plenary Meeting in July 2009 in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. All eligible organisations striving to build a sustainable society within Ishikawa are invited to apply.
The application period for the Ishikawa Special Prize has now been closed.
